  • Good habits at an early age

    Hygiene has to be inculcated from an early age to ensure its lifelong practice. One of the most common reasons why people are accepted or rejected in social circle is their hygiene habit. Are you teaching your children these rules of hygiene?

  • Washing hands

    Dirty hands are the easiest way to contract germs and illness. Teach your children to wash hands properly before and after a meal, after using a toilet, when they come home, or if they’ve handled money or shoes.

  • Oral hygiene

    Poor oral hygiene can result in bad breath and tooth decay. Teach the children to brush properly, including the far ends of the mouth and to clean the tongue. To make sure proper health of the teeth, help them floss.

  • Taking a bath

    Children often do not like to take a bath. But it is important to teach them to take a bath daily and to clean themselves properly, including the private parts.

  • In the toilet

    Washing hands after using the toilet is important but it is also equally important that children learn to clean themselves properly in the toilet. They should be taught to properly clean their bottom. It is also important that they learn to wipe the toilet seat after they are done.

  • Hair washing

    Oily, smelly hair is a definite no no when trying to make friends. Encourage your children to wash their head twice a week if alternate day is not possible.

  • Cleaning the ears and behind the ears

    Ears are the most neglected part when it comes to cleanliness. Help the kids clean their ears by supervising it. Do not let the earwax remain, otherwise it can cause hearing problems. Also check behind the ears, especially for soap residues and water that hasn’t been wiped off after a bath.

  • Good hygiene equals good health

    If you can help your children develop good hygiene habits, not only will they live a healthier life but they will also find it easy to be accepted socially.
