Sticking to zero-alcohol rule is definitely great, but you can surely binge on New Year. Take care that it should not exceed two large glasses of wine. You can even choose to enjoy a glass of champagne. Medicines Do not forget to take your regular pregnancy tablets, calcium, folic acid, and iron supplements. Make sure you have some remedies for dyspepsia, heartburn, indigestion in case you need them. Right clothes Prioritize comfort over fashion while choosing clothes. Go on a shopping spree! You want to look your best, of course, but no one will expect you to turn up looking the belle of the ball. Ditch those tight-fitting clothes. Avoid the sparkly heels and opt for low wedges or cute ballet pumps instead. Carry layers (shawls, jackets, scarves) too, so that you can adjust as necessary at the venue. Decorations Stay away from balloons, glitters, and paper plates. They are not eco-friendly. Consider decorating your home or party venue with lots of flowers, pot plants, use cutlery and crockery. Artificial decorations may contain lead which can increase chances of birth defects in baby. Take rest Avoid overexertion. Do not go for a long time in smoky and clumsy atmospheres. Avoid passive smoking and loud music. Take a good rest and restore your energy. Most important, enjoy yourself! Pregnancy is a short-time affair relatively, so enjoy going to events and occasions. Being pregnant, you will get those special looks. People will look at you and want to talk about the good news. Talk to people and revel all the attention you get. “Moms-to-be” take care of these small things and have a wonderful time at New Year! 0 thoughts on “ Are you pregnant this new year?” Leave a Reply Cancel reply Your email address will not be published.
