When we munch on it, we end up consuming more salt than what our body needs. This is a main contributor for increasing BP (Blood Pressure) and LDL (Low Density Lipid) or bad cholesterol. Fried food increases LDL leading to heart diseases like heart attacks. Fried snacks are mouth watering. We tend to eat it every now and then, irrespective of whether we are hungry or not. Digestive system may not get adequate rest. Spicy snacks may lead to hyperacidity. Street food is generally cooked in oil stored for long time. Chemicals are used to preserve the fries in attractive packets. All of these take a toll on the digestive system leading to stomach upset.
